As part of its on-going 25th anniversary celebrations, Australia’s leading performance car manufacturer, Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), released details of an exciting new limited edition GTS.
Building on an already impressive list of standard features, including a 325kW, 6.2 litre V8 engine, the HSV 25th Anniversary GTS features a number of styling, performance and technology upgrades.

The story starts with the addition of an all-new, light-weight, 20″ forged alloy wheel finished in Satin Graphite. This forged wheel delivers a weight saving in excess of 22kg over the standard GTS wheel set, reducing unsprung weight by an impressive 8%. “Vector” hood scoops and side vents, also finished in distinctive Satin Graphite, combine with the forged alloys to deliver menacing street appeal.
From a performance perspective, HSV has added six-piston brakes which, with a 50% increase in pad area, deliver optimum braking performance, while technology gets a boost with the addition of HSV’s Side Blind Zone Alert, which helps alert the driver to objects adjacent to the vehicle.
Limited to just 125 units (in Australia), with each build plate individually numbered, HSV’s 25th Anniversary GTS will be available in Heron, Sting, Phantom and Hazard and will also feature some unique 25th anniversary ornamentation including seat embroidery, exterior badging, sill plates, EDI “start-up” screen and an internal I.D. plate.
With over $7,500 of added extras (inc. LCT), HSV’s 25th Anniversary GTS will be available at a recommended retail price of $84,990, just $2,000 more than the regular GTS.
Recommended Retail Pricing (AUD) for HSV 25th Anniversary GTS (6-speed manual): $84,990

Not sure if I like the front of the HSV GTS 25th Anniversary (2012) , looks too awkward compared with the rest of the vehicle.
I love this HSV GTS 25th Anniversary (2012), more power just makes it better.
